Are First Class Swim Teachers certified?

Yes! First Class Swim School has some of the toughest requirements to become First Class Certified and continuing education to stay certified. Our teachers are some of the highest caliber swim teachers in the industry and fully insured.   

 

How old are First Class Swim Schools Swim Teachers?

All of our swim teachers are at least 21 years old. You will always have a professional, mature, outgoing and respectful swim teacher looking to build a lasting relationship with your family.

 

Do you provide a trial lesson?

At First Class Swim School your first class is always free! We can’t wait to start the journey of learning to swim with you. Our goal is to build a lasting relationship with all our swimmers and their families. On your first day, your swim teacher will spend an hour with your family. Some in water but also some out of the water aligning with your goals and building a relationship.   

 

How am I assigned my teacher?

We match you to your perfect teacher based on your preferences of schedule, location, teacher gender and any other personal preferences. Remember we have a “Love Your Teacher” guarantee!

 

What if I have kids of different ages?

Not a problem! Our teachers are capable of handling varying ages. If the gap in ages becomes detrimental to the learning of another swimmer we will always recommend a better fit for your swimmers.

 

What if I have students of different skill levels?

Not a problem! Our teachers are capable of handling varying abilities. If the gap in abilities becomes detrimental to the learning of another swimmer we will always recommend a better fit for your swimmers.

 

Do you teach swim lessons to special needs students?

Of course! We have teachers trained in special needs and it is their passion to work with these swimmers.

 

What if my child doesn't like water on his/her face?

That’s why we are here! Most beginning swimmers don’t like water on their face.

What is the best age to start swimming?

Our philosophy is get started early and swim often! We start as young as 3 months old.

 

Do you teach adult swim lessons?

Absolutely, we teach all ages and abilities!

 

Do You Have Enrollment Fees?

No

 

What are your swim lesson rates?

When will I be charged?

We process monthly payments on the first of each month. You will not be charged till after your FREE first swim class and we have confirmed your swim schedule.

 

Can I pay with cash?

We accept payments via Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

 

How do I register for lessons?

How frequently should a swimmer have class?

Swim skills are gained the more you practice them. At the minimum a swimmer should have one 30 minute class per week. We recommend two times per week spread out throughout the week. Swimmers that swim three or more times per week typically progress the fastest!

 

What if my child doesn’t click with our swim teacher?

We understand that teacher changes may need to happen. We are here to help! Feel free to email us at info@firstclassswimschool.com or call the office at 833-SWIM-1ST (7946-178). We are confident we have the right teacher for you!

 

Should swimmers wear goggles to lessons?

Personal preference. We recommend swimmers learn to swim without goggles due to safety reasons. Your teacher may recommend wearing them to help the process of putting the face in water. Once a swimmer has learned to put their face in the water your teacher will challenge them to swim without goggles at times.
 

What if I want to increase or decrease the amount of lessons or lesson duration?

We understand schedules change. Just give us a call at 833-SWIM-1ST (7946-178) or email us at info@firstclassswimschool.com and we will make it happen!

 

What happens if I miss a class?

If you are able to give us a 24 hour notice we can prorate the following month or provide a make-up class by the end of the month based on your teachers availability. If we do not receive a 24 hour notice we are unable to prorate but can try and provide a make-up class by the end of the month based on your teachers availability.

 

What if I want to stop swimming?

We require a 30 day notice given via email to info@firstclassswimschool.com. Our office will confirm via email and phone call.

 

Where are you located?

Anywhere! Our swim teachers travel to the pool of your choice including but not limited to home pool, housing community, hotel, fitness center or public pool.

 

What areas do you service?
